Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress famous for her performance in film productions such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already obtained a few television appearances, for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her performance of Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable role roles like Adolf's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the female diva. Over the years Alexandra has worked in several noteworthy national and international projects. These projects include the British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time and as French Historical Miniseries Napoleon. Additionally, she was one of the members of both Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
