Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros, and the traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. She began singing and learning songs with her mother she began her more intensive training in singing when she was 16 with renowned Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions singing traditional Latin American Music. She has been involved with a number of local initiatives in both teaching and performer because of her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana was a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to sing the same.
